This week, BH Cinema presents Curse of the Golden Flower, one of most expensive Chinese films ever made. The film stars Chou Yun-Fat and Gong Li and creates a pageant of imperial China.

While Scooter has never viewed the film, Nickle swears it is great. She admires the film’s storyline and style. After seeing the poster art, Scooter agrees.

“The film is directed by Zhang Yimou,” Scooter said. “He directed Hero, and I loved Hero. Therefore, based on the laws of nature, I must love this film also.”
