BLUE HOUSE – In honor of LOST’s series finale on Sunday night, The Blue House hosted a special farewell party. “It was sad,” Scooter said. “I knew it would be. But I sucked it up, although I have no idea what I’m going to do on Tuesday nights from now on.”

As the evening began, guests enjoyed delicious food prepared by Nickle and a decadent dessert brought over by Striker and Lacey. They then proceeded to take part in LOST quizzes and games.

When the episode aired, aptly titled “The End,” everyone’s eyes were glued to the television. Earlier in the evening, the guests feasted on snacks branded with the Dharma Initiative logo. “We had Dharma soda, Dharma chips and Dharma dip,” Nickle said. Scooter and Wiggs even donned t-shirts that featured a cleverly designed Dharma Blue House logo.

After the big reveal at the end of the episode, which pointed out that flash-sideways timeline was actually an extreme flash-forward to after the survivors’ deaths, everyone was stunned. It appeared that religion played a big role, but Scooter stated that he liked that the writers didn’t hedge everything into one religion. “The stained glass had symbols from all major religions,” he said. “Its diversity closely resembled the cast of the show.

“It was a good ending to one of the best shows ever,” Striker said. Most of the guests concurred. “It was nice to see Boone again,” Scooter said. “That’s one of the hottest girls on the show.”

The scenes preceding the big twist were action-packed and sentimentally-stuffed. Although the literal cork protecting the presumed evil from erupting from The Island’s Source was a bit cheesy, Scooter felt it was necessary. “Eventually,” he said, “the writers were going to have to show the massive amount of energy they promised was under the island. A glowing light seems to be the most efficient way of conveying it.”

The snacks were labelled with Dharma logos, but Scooter honestly claims that they were dropped off early "during a Swan Station Lockdown."

The rest of the guests reveled in the romantic and utter tragic scenes. “Jack’s death,” Nickle said, “was extremely fitting.” She refers to the fact that Jack died exactly where he awoke in the Pilot episode, and his eye closed this time instead of opening.

“I’m going to miss it,” Scooter admitted. “But I’m excited to have a life again. Now, anything’s possible.”

In the early years of this decade, friends and tenants of The Blue House had a cherished friend. His name was Frank McRoosterson. Originally, Frank was cast to play a role in a local independent film, titled The Rave, but soon became a household icon among local citizens. The legend of Frank eventually spread throughout the nation, especially following his surprise appearance at a talent show in Panama City, Florida. Frank performed a stand-up comedy act that was well praised by critics. One famous comedian stated, “Frank’s comic genius is unparalleled. This could be the beginning of a longstanding act.”

Yet, in life, things have a way of entering a downward spiral, and this trend was no different for Frank. As the decade wore on, he entered into a parasitic friendship with Turkhold, a renowned hustler and rogue. The two forged a duo and were witnessed tramping around town and engaging in rascal-like behavior. Soon after, Frank was never heard from again. The Blue House still speculates on the whereabouts of their beloved friend. Wherever he is, The Blue House wishes him well.

The following video is a tribute to Frank. It also briefly summarizes Frank’s short existence in The Blue House’s social domain. Enjoy this memorial that was created by Whittler’s Meadow of Knoxville shortly after his disappearance. While the video may seem simple, it accurately reflects Frank’s simple passion for life.

Staff Sergeant Peebles, a long time friend of mine and of BHL has recently given BHL three thumbs up (somehow…). I suppose this to mean that he will be our military guide to infamy. Our faith in him rarely, if ever, falters. We hope he knows that all he does for us shall only temporarily be forgotten… (sorry… terrible joke, I know…). None the less, you and all the other men serving in the Armed Forces are owed our gratitude. Thank you, kind sir(s).

We are happy to oblige a friend, and people of whom we have no knowledge, of facts that are considered to be (or not) true. As of this printing we are just beginning to explore the fields in which we may roam. The only limitations we have run into thus far are the pains in my ass and brain, and the notion that we may put too much on too fast and implode (and no we can’t fail economically because we aren’t getting paid for this!) our creativity and stamina. A much needed inquiry into said publication would go a long way to support our effort. Just like we support you…

Any comments, whether; supportive, nice, crude, informative, topical, or questions, could spark interest in a new or updated article. We want to help alleviate _____ and want to entertain you to a certain degree. The final objective in our continuation of said publication is to imply a sense of interested acknowledgment of the articles. We want you to feel like “you and your friends have or would see and do most if not all of the things written about.”

Hopefully it is understood that all the events we admit to may or may not be entirely accurate. They all did, on the other hand, happen to us or with us present. If our words and actions lead you to believe that we are ignorant juveniles with too much time to spare, you may be correct. We hope our shortcomings will not subjugate our work (if you can call this work).

P.S. Please fill in your own concerns in the blank space. If you would like to leave a comment, please do so, we are young, heart-ache to heart-ache….. (ah shit…)
