About Us

The Blue House circa 2009.

The Blue House, as an entity, was founded in 2004. The House itself has stood for decades, and according to recent archaeological breakthroughs, it may have stood for longer than that. Some theorists postulate that the House may have been around for some 15,000 years, making it, by far, the oldest standing dwelling in the Americas. Cave drawings found on the wall of the Study are the primary evidence for this claim.

The House did not enter its prime, however, until 2005. Since then, it enhanced and continues to enhance the culture and conversation of not just the United States but the entire world. The Blue House Lives was founded in 2009 and quickly became the primary force in expressing The Blue House experience. Critics around the world have showered the site with so many accolades that it nearly drowns in its own greatness.

The Crew:

Man-Man

A.K.A.: M.C. Fox, Man-Manzilla

One of the original founders, Man-Man embodies the playful and glorious spirit of the House. He is known for his wide-ranging expertise in automotives and action films. He is also a large contributor to Blue House videos, and in fact, he is the driving force behind Whittler’s Meadow. He created Whittler’s Meadow years ago as a device to simply “bring people together in the spirit of the randomness and stupidity.” Since its inception, the Blue House has been as stupid as it can be, and in the process, it has created some classic videos. As aforementioned, cars are ubiquitous in Man-Man’s life. A quick glance at his CarDomain will impress on anyone Man-Man’s creativity and skill.

Nickle

A.K.A.: Nichole, Person from the “great” Northwest

Nickle came to the Blue House from that distant land that is so distant that people forget it exists: Washington State. At the Blue House, she is known for her outspoken love for anything Washington, be it washed-out images of the Space Needle or depressed portraits of Mount Rainier. She is also progenitor of the obesity movement in the House by her production of so many delicious foods and treats. She ignited the No Washington War with Scooter by her insistence that Washington is the best state in the union. In the end, Nickle’s articles are always noteworthy and entertaining (even if she praises the desolate Evergreen State).

Scooter

A.K.A.: Jeff L. Horner

Scooter sauntered into the House in 2006, and two and a half years later, The Blue House Lives was born. He is largely defined by his collection of books in the Study and his ever-bulging chin. When asked about the latter, one resident once replied, “That thing gets bigger every day.” Undaunted by these remarks, Scooter has excelled at producing myriad pointless articles, and he has achieved sheer mastery when it comes to eating Nickle’s food (one reason for the chin bulge). The historical community respects Scooter for his expansive research and insight into the Kitty Konflict. He is also embroiled in the heated No Washington War with Nickle.
