Four Straight for the Flatliners
MONTREAL – Montreal secured a sweep of Charleston with a 6-4 victory on Tuesday. Donald Castillo and Matthew Kuhl both hit home runs to propel the Flatliners (4-2) into the heart of the Eastern Division race. Montreal pounded out thirteen hits against a beat-up Windjammers team that has lost their sixth straight game.
Charleston (0-6) continues to look for answers as the losses keep piling up. Tyler Smith, Grant Hughett and Josh Hughett all hit home runs, but otherwise, the offense looked extremely shoddy. The Windjammers prepare for a three-game series with Manchester starting Saturday, while Montreal serves up three against Baltimore.
