Butter Maker leads Monarchs over Baltimore
MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester propelled into first place in the Eastern Division on Saturday with a shutout win over Baltimore 6-0. The Monarchs (4-1) were led by star pitcher Butter Maker, who racked up nine strikeouts and even hit a home run. Baltimore (3-2) is on a two-game skid that began with their trip to Manchester. The Ninjas were unable to get their bats going. They were not able to get anything better than a single for the entirety of the ball game. Manchester, on the other hand, had two doubles, a triple, and two home runs.
The teams wrap up their series on Tuesday.
