San Antonio Picks Up First Win

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio went eleven innings and won its first game of the season, defeating Tacoma 4-3 on Tuesday night. The game bandied around before both teams ended up tied at the end of nine innings. Tony Kendrick hit a double that drove in Howard Hedges to win the ballgame. The game was Tacoma’s (1-1) first loss of the year.

The Sleepers (1-1) came into Tuesday night’s contest with something to prove. Following Saturday’s 3-0 loss to the Aroma, San Antonio was lampooned in the media. Many critics preemptively labeled them the worst team in the league. “I feel that we proved many people wrong,” Caudle, the Sleepers’ manager stated. “It was an exhausting affair, though. I’m pretty tired.

Tacoma’s pitching, which was thought to be the best in the Western Division, proved to be its downfall. Ian Willoughby allowed nine hits and three runs, and Raul Hill, who was credited with the loss, gave up two hits and a run in barely over an inning. “We have to get better on the mound,” Nichole Stevens said. “You can’t beat any team in this league when you pitch like that.” The two teams will meet again on Saturday in the finale of a three game series.

A Special Message

The Blue House Lives sincerely reflects that we all live within the Ninja Empire and are explicitly bound by the laws and regulations designed and introduced by Ninja, the self-proclaimed Grand Emperor of The Blue House.
In order to appease our sense of self-preservation, The Blue House Lives officially pledges our allegiance to the Ninja Empire, and this publication hopefully awaits the capitulation of those groups still engaged in resistance against mighty Ninja.
We do not express these sentiments out of fear. We promise.
