Virginia Shuts Out Johnson City

NORFOLK, VA – Johnson City accumulated seven hits but could score no runs in a 4-0 loss to Virginia on Tuesday afternoon. The Fuckhectors (1-1) left countless runners stranded inning after inning, and Virginia (1-1) scored four runs on just four hits en route to their first victory of the season. William Ecklund pitched seven innings and recorded five strikeouts. He earned his first win of the season as well.

For Johnson City, the day proved intensely frustrating. The Fuckhectors got caught in two double-plays. Alfred Thomas, their starting pitcher, only made it one-third of an inning, as the Opossums chalked up three runs early.

“It’s rare to see four runs on just four hits,” Jeff L. Horner, the Opossums’ manager stated, “but that’s just the way it goes sometimes. I wish the guys would have hit the ball better, but I can’t argue with a win.” The Virginia victory marks the first home win for any team in league history. In the opening days of play, the visiting teams went 6-0. These two teams will meet again on Saturday to wrap up their three game series.

A Special Message

The Blue House Lives sincerely reflects that we all live within the Ninja Empire and are explicitly bound by the laws and regulations designed and introduced by Ninja, the self-proclaimed Grand Emperor of The Blue House.
In order to appease our sense of self-preservation, The Blue House Lives officially pledges our allegiance to the Ninja Empire, and this publication hopefully awaits the capitulation of those groups still engaged in resistance against mighty Ninja.
We do not express these sentiments out of fear. We promise.
