NORFOLK, VA – After opening the game with a 3-0 lead, the Johnson City Fuckhectors had to withstand Virginia’s rally to hold on for a 5-4 victory on opening day. Johnson City (1-0) becomes the fourth straight away team to win during opening week. Home teams are current 0-4.

Virginia (0-1) struggled to find any offense for the first 5 innings. Then, they chalked up three runs to cut the Fuckhectors’ lead to 4-3. In the 7th, Virginia tied it up at 4, but Johnson City reclaimed the lead for good with a run in the top of the 8th.

“That’s the type of games you have to win to be good in this league,” Mike Huie, Johnson City’s manager said. “We did work. They did work. In the end, it was our work that counted.” The two teams meet again on Tuesday in Norfolk for game two of a three game series.

A Special Message

The Blue House Lives sincerely reflects that we all live within the Ninja Empire and are explicitly bound by the laws and regulations designed and introduced by Ninja, the self-proclaimed Grand Emperor of The Blue House.
In order to appease our sense of self-preservation, The Blue House Lives officially pledges our allegiance to the Ninja Empire, and this publication hopefully awaits the capitulation of those groups still engaged in resistance against mighty Ninja.
We do not express these sentiments out of fear. We promise.
